Lead is not available in larger resource deposits, like Silver or Gold, but because of its availability in the Galena Outcrops, you should be able to get everything you need./r/Games is for informative and interesting gaming content and discussions.Compared to the other biomes in Subnautica: Below Zero where you can find Lead ( like the Crystal Caves or Lilypad Islands), the Twisty Bridges is the closest, safest, and most efficient area to get Lead in the game.Each Galena Outcrop has a chance to drop either Titanium or Lead, so you might need to crack a few open.Get a Mineral Detector, which is crafted with a Battery, Titanium, Copper Wire, and Silicone Rubber.The Outcrops can be hiding down those channels. Make sure to check all the cliffs and areas that cut into the cliffs.It gets very dark at night in the Twisty Bridges and you won't be able to see any rocks. RELATED: Subnautica: Below Zero - How To Kill Leviathans If you don't have the Rebreather yet, a handful of raw Bladderfish can grant you a few chunks of Oxygen to help you harvest Lead. Galena Outcrops are found at around 100 meters +, so the Rebreather does come in handy. You should be relatively safe here, with no nearby Brute Sharks or Leviathans to cause you any problems. Once in the Twisty Bridges biome, you want to dive into some of the caverns, channels, and chasms that make up the biome. ![]() Just set the Detector to search for Galena and it will keep you in the right direction. Because they're basically lumps of grey rock, it can be handy to have the Detector tell you where they are. Mineral Detector - This is a hugely useful tool for finding the Galena Outcrops.However, it's not absolutely necessary to have the truck before you head into the Twisty Bridges. Seatruck - If you have the Seatruck, great.Not only will you be able to collect Outcrops faster, but you will also stand a better chance of escaping from angry Brute Sharks. Seaglider - This makes swimming much faster.Here's our guide on how to find the Rebreather. Rebreather - The Galena Outcrops in the Twisty Bridges biome are located below 100 meters, which means you will suffer an Oxygen penalty if you haven't got the Rebreather equipped.It means you'll have to take fewer trips searching for Outcrops. Having more Oxygen helps you explore for longer and travel deeper. High Capacity O2 Tank - This is one of the items you should prioritize in the early game.Here's everything else you need to find Lead: Brute Sharks do roam the area (they do 30 damage per bite), but these can easily be avoided with a Seaglider, Fins, or if you have crafted one, a Seatruck. The Twisty Bridges biome is not overly dangerous. RELATED: Subnautica: Below Zero - Best Power Sources How To Find Lead In The Twisty Bridges Biome You should first start to see the biome between 300 meters and 400 meters from the Drop Pod. The biome transitions into a Shallow version as you get closer to Delta Island. You can't miss it: the biome is made up of loads of twisty bridges (that look like tentacles) with blue lights underneath. These two biomes are located to the south of your Drop Pod spot. ![]()
